SignNow Pricing: What a Small Team Pays Month to Month

TL;DR SignNow charges per send, not per user. Month to month, the entry plan costs $20 and covers 10 signature invites a month for the whole account, and every invite past that is billed separately. A 3-person team sending 30 documents a month pays about $39 a month on that plan, against $19 on Holosign.

Month to month, SignNow starts at $20 for 10 invites

Billed monthly, SignNow’s plans cost $20, $30 and $50 (checked on signnow.com/pricing, 2026-10-16). SignNow is testing two sets of names for them, so depending on which version of the pricing page you get, they’re Starter, Professional and Business or Basic, Business and Advanced. The page opens on annual billing, so the first prices you see are $8, $15 and $30, and the entry plan’s $8 means paying $96 for the year up front. Enterprise is priced per invite and sold through sales, so it’s left out here.

The allowance changes with the billing period too. Annual plans include 100 signature invites a year and monthly plans include 10 a month. SignNow’s pricing FAQ says both are counted per account, not per user. An older help-centre article still says per user, so the figures here follow the pricing page, which is where you buy. At checkout, the monthly $20 plan reads “$20 x 1 month” and the user field says “Add as many as you need.”

SignNow meters sends instead of seats

Every paid plan includes unlimited users at no extra cost, which SignNow states plainly in its help centre. What it meters is the signature invite. One invite is one document, or one group of documents, sent for signature. Two signers on the same contract still count as one invite. A cancelled invite still counts, and so does one the signer declines.

Because the allowance belongs to the account, a five-person team gets the same 10 monthly invites as one person, and the bill moves with send volume rather than headcount. Past the allowance, SignNow keeps sending and bills each extra invite. Its help centre lists $0.96 per extra invite on the entry plan, $1.80 on the middle plan and $3.60 on the top plan, under its older plan names (Business, Business Premium, Enterprise) that carried the same $20, $30 and $50 prices.

10$20$19
20$29.60$19

Holosign Unlimited is $19 a month flat, with unlimited users and unlimited documents. Holosign Free covers 5 documents a month for one sender. SignNow has no free plan once its 7-day trial ends.

Neither paid plan charges per user, so once you’re past Holosign Free’s single sender, team size drops out of the comparison. From 6 to 10 documents a month the two prices sit a dollar apart and you can choose on features. Past that, each extra document adds about a dollar to the SignNow bill while Holosign stays at $19.

A worked example: a 3-person agency

A small agency has two partners sending proposals and SOWs and an office manager sending contractor agreements. Between them they send about 30 documents a month.

On SignNow’s entry plan, billed monthly, that’s $20 plus 20 extra invites at $0.96, or $39.20 a month and $470.40 a year. If they need bulk send or signing links, those start on the next plan up: $30 plus 20 invites at the help centre’s $1.80 rate is $66 a month, or $792 a year. On Holosign Unlimited the same team pays $19 a month, $228 a year, and the bill stays the same if they hire a fourth person or send 60 documents instead of 30.

SignNow’s higher plans add payments, SMS and signer checks

SignNow’s $30 plan adds bulk send, signing links and payment collection inside the document. The $50 plan adds SMS delivery, conditional and formula fields, approval workflows, custom branding and advanced signer authentication. Holosign doesn’t offer signer authentication on any plan, so if your counterparties need more than an emailed signing link to verify who signed, SignNow’s $50 plan covers that and Holosign doesn’t.

We worked through the same question for PandaDoc’s per-seat pricing, and why most e-signature tools charge per user covers the seat model SignNow moved away from. The side-by-side feature view is on our Holosign vs SignNow comparison.

FAQ

How much does SignNow cost per month?

Billed monthly, SignNow’s plans are $20, $30 and $50 (checked 2026-10-16), whether your version of the pricing page names them Starter, Professional and Business or Basic, Business and Advanced. Each includes 10 signature invites a month for the account. The $8, $15 and $30 prices on the pricing page are annual rates, paid up front for the year.

Does SignNow charge per user?

No. Every paid plan lets you add users at no extra cost. SignNow charges for signature invites, where one invite is one document or document group sent for signature. The allowance is per account, so extra users don’t bring extra invites.

What happens when you go over SignNow’s invite limit?

Sending continues and each extra invite is billed: $0.96, $1.80 or $3.60 depending on the plan, per SignNow’s help centre (checked 2026-10-16). Twenty documents a month on the $20 entry plan means 10 extra invites, for $29.60 a month at $0.96 each.

Does SignNow have a free plan?

No. There’s a 7-day free trial, then every plan is paid. Holosign Free covers 5 documents a month for one sender, and Holosign Unlimited is $19 a month for unlimited users and documents.
